Biography:

Fr. Paul A. McDonnell, OSJ, a Pennsylvania native, is an ordained Catholic priest of the Congregation of the Oblates of St. Joseph - USA Province. In his thirty years of priestly ministry he has assumed numerous pastoral and administrative roles in both Pennsylvania and California, including most recently serving as provincial superior and rector of the Shrine of St. Joseph, Santa Cruz, CA. In July of 2020, Fr. McDonnell returned to his native area of Scranton, PA, where he serves as rector of his local religious community. He also assists diocesan clergy with pastoral needs and directs retreats, conferences and workshops for clergy and laity.
